How to get here

Seamill Hydro is situated in the picturesque village of Seamill, West Kilbride, North Ayrshire. Only 45 minutes by car from Glasgow, 40 minutes from Ayr and 30 minutes from Kilmarnock making it an easy to reach festive day out destination.

We offer complimentary pick-ups from west Kilbride railway station, which has a direct service from Glasgow or changing at Kilwinning for trains from Ayr. As a holder of a Silver award for Green Tourism we highly recommend coming by train, no need to find a place to park, better for the environment and the kids love the adventure. Please call the hotel when you reach Ardrossan station so we can organise your swift collection.

If traveling by car please check the local weather and traffic reports before your departure, winter travel advice is available on the AA website, please take care when traveling in winter weather particularly when travelling with children. 

At peak times our car park my reach capacity, there are other local public parking facilities within easy walking distance, these facilities are not controlled by Seamill Hydro and we cannot suggest using them, if you choose to park in such areas you do so at your own risk and we urge caution when making your way to and from the event particularly after dark.

IMPORTANT

Street parking is not available on Ardrossan Road (A78) or the side streets surrounding the hotel, the police patrol these areas and illegally or dangerously parked cars may well get a ticket, so don’t say we didn’t warn you! Please respect our neighbors and ensure you do not block entrances or drive ways when you park.
