Seamill Hydro’s Festival offers a range of activities aimed at both primary and secondary school children which will both reward and stimulate pupils of all ages. Our school trip packages have been designed to offer exceptional value for money and a truly memorable Christmas School Trip. We have also worked hard to make the event as easy as possible for schools to visit, we even have a free online risk assessment available for you to download.

What you can expect when you book a Christmas School trip to Festival at Seamill Hydro:

Free teacher planning visit, come along and enjoy complimentary access for two to plan your visit, talk to our staff, tour the facilities and enjoy a coffee on the house.
Free Supervisor Tickets, to help you supervise your pupils at all times we can offer you 1 free ticket for every 10 tickets bought for any of the attractions.
Help with risk assessment, a full and detailed risk assessment is available to download to help you ensure you keep the little ones safe and sound.
Special Needs, every effort has been made to ensure the event is accessible to all and has a range of attractions to suit all abilities, a skate chair is available for the ice rink.
On site catering, we can cater for parties of almost any size in our range of restaurants, either from our kids menus designed by the local school, or our festive lite menu or even a packed lunch with a twist.

For larger schools visits we can offer full exclusivity of the event but the event is never open to the public at times we offer to school parties, other schools or private groups may book at the same time if you are bringing a smaller group.

We offer exclusive rates for school trip groups:

Groups of 25-99 children:

Ice Skating - £3.50 per child
Skate & Visit Santa - £8.50 per child
Skate & Use of Bouncy Castle & Rockin’ Rudolf - £7.50 per child
Skate, Santa, Bounce & Rock - £12.00 per child
Add Hot Chocolate for only £1.50 per child

The fairground rides cannot be pre booked but start at only 1 £1 token a ride, it is possible to buy tokens in bulk at the start of the day to distribute to the pupils.

Payment will be taken in advance and tickets issued by post so that you don’t have to queue up or wait around when you get here, simply start having festive fun straight away!

1 Adult is required on site for every 5 children but it is not necessary for all those supervising to take part in all of the activities.
