Christmas Outdoor Ice Skating in Ayrshire

What could be a better Christmas Day out in Ayrshire than taking to the ice on our fabulous outdoor rink?

We have teamed up with Ice Magic, suppliers to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and endorsed by Skate UK and the National Ice Skating Association to bring you a unique skating experience this Christmas. Collect your skates from our lovely Victorian Tea House and then take to the Ice and enjoy our fantastic setting on the Ayrshire coast.

Book your Christmas Ice Skating online now to guarantee your place and miss the queues. We also have penguin skate aids available for those who are new to skating and a disabled skate chair so everyone can take to the ice.

Skating starts on the hour for forty five minutes, please ensure you arrive quarter of an hour before your skate time to get your skates on!

All skaters must have gloves before they will be permitted to go onto the ice, as the rink is outside we recommend wrapping up warm.

We have 2 penguin Skating aids available as well as a disabled skate chair, unfortunately these cannot be pre-booked in advance please ask staff on the day for availability.

The Ice Magic artificial surface is the closest thing available to real ice but does not require huge quantities of water or huge amounts of energy to stop the ice melting. So it is better for the environment and it also hurts less when you fall, shame it can’t stop you embarrassing yourself!!
